Charbon Ardent
Carte blanche to CirkVOST for Sainte-Barbe
In 2015, the company was asked to create the "well show ", the highlight of the Charbon Ardent festival which celebrates Saint Barbe's Day every year, around December 4 in La Grand Combe.
This fabulous experience will mark the transition between the creations of BoO and Hurt me tender since we will meet the trio of musicians who will accompany us on the new creation until 2024.
Since 2017, the entire festival program has been entrusted to Benoit Belleville, with CirkVOST becoming co-organizer of the event.
The festival is based on a theme every year, and each year the specifications include the creation of a large-scale show on the former mine trestle, the Puits Ricard.
This partnership, rooted in the region, is interesting in many ways. The ambition to bring together local stakeholders, associations, school groups and residents around the proposals, which are spread over four days, is a great challenge.
The work of creating the Well show, with its constraints and ambitions, allows us to understand this mining site in many ways, always spectacular….
Don't hesitate to ask us, our expertise can be transferred to other places!
