Statement of intent
TRAXXx is an acrobatic exploration of memory, a journey to the heart of what shapes us, connects us, and propels us. Far from any nostalgia, our discipline draws on the memory of the body, on the memory of gestures, to question our place and our heritage. We do not seek to engrave the past, but to inhabit it, to transform it in order to better overcome it. On the track, each acrobatic performance is a dialogue between the past, the present, and the future. The acrobat's body is no longer just a tool of prowess, but a living memory, a language that writes in the air what words cannot express. Temporality becomes a challenge for acrobatic success and a philosophical questioning!
The complexity of our times leads us to question our imprint. Whether lasting or ephemeral, beneficial or harmful, profitable or fruitless, it remains a witness to our fragment of life. TRAXXx is a rejection of fixed traces and imposed legacies. It is the creation of new, shifting, and fragile imprints that destroy nothing and impose themselves on no one.
The desire to reveal the trace of a movement, of acrobatics, of an aerial ballet
Writing in a different way the imprint of a body in action in the void
Showing the trajectories, the spray, the scent of a spin, a somersault or a fall... will be the components of the desired acrobatic evolution.
Artistic statement
How can we approach the future with the traces of the past?
This is the question from which our desire to create was born. A question that is neither abstract nor philosophical, but deeply physical, organic, acrobatic.
Because in our disciplines, every success depends on the memory of movement, the memory of the body, the awareness of the present moment.
But memory doesn't belong to us alone. It precedes us, moves through us, connects us to History, to generations, to what humanity has inscribed—sometimes carved—into the ground, into minds, into landscapes.
So we ask ourselves: Why this constant need to leave a trace, when we are only passing through?
And more importantly: What kind of trace do we want to leave behind?
In our show, individual memory meets collective memory.
Indeed, the memory of a childhood smile, the scar of an old wound, or a sandcastle… become universal symbols.
Each body in the ring becomes a bearer of fragments—of life, of memory, of intuition, of doubt.
The circus becomes a space of metamorphosis.
Aerial work is not just about feats. It is a language. It writes in the air what cannot be spoken. It reveals what the physical trace cannot contain.
We refuse to follow the fixed tracks of the past.
We choose instead to create our own—shifting, fragile, breathing.
From the roots to the canopy, like a whole tree, we embrace all our dimensions—past, present, and those yet to come.
And under the big top, from the ground to the cupola, we become the sap of a collective breath. Inevitably, a chaotic apnea, a distortion of reality, or a waking nightmare will come before that breath…
Because there is no transformation without disruption!
But we will learn to breathe again—together.
In a world where some leave behind traces of power, others choose to leave only the fleeting imprint of a gesture.
Acrobats leave nothing but a shiver on the viewer’s retina.
And yet… that trace speaks to us. It destroys nothing. It imposes nothing.
It suggests, shares, reveals.
TRAXXx is a human attempt—
A tribute to lived memory and invisible imprint.
The imprint of a breath, a flight, a try.
The mark of a body in motion, not seeking to dominate, but to fully inhabit the moment, drawing on both experience and the unknown.
To leave, perhaps, the imprint of another possible story…
