Our "cartes blanches"
& In situ creations
We respond to a specific order and create a tailor-made show, adapted to the site,
to the sponsor, as was the case for Charbon Ardent 2015.
Acrobats in the air, tightrope walkers and fireworks punctuated a magical half-hour.
In 10 days, and with the support of around twenty employees, the company took over the mining trestle and put it on stage, with music and lights, for more than 4,000 spectators!
This was still the case when we went to Bahrain for the F1 Grand Prix in April 2016. A demanding private commission, which required adapting Epicycle for 20-minute daytime sessions.
More recently, we offered our carte blanche "Love me cruel", where the idea is to build on our latest creation under the big top "Hurt me tender".
Drawing on the dreamlike universe, very gentle and complex, of which we retain the essentials, the characters, the music, and this tender human brutality which characterizes the show.
Rely on aerial discipline of course, that at ground level, that a little higher, and that at the very top when possible.
Also rely on everything that is played out on the ground in the show, the conflicting, ambiguous relationships, the duets, the trios, the solitudes...
And invent a new form:
Use the context, the space, remain free to reinvent.
Use constraints too, adapt, and create.
For us, it's always an adventure, a challenge.
Drawing on our experience, our vocabulary,
and a few days of rehearsal; the creation of this “one-off show” will bring shared energy.
