Boo
BoO is an aerial show that speaks of rhythms, flows, and above all, relationships between humans, all in a setting assembled from 368 bamboos.
The majestic structure invests and transforms our environment.
It challenges and gently settles, bamboo by bamboo, a veritable giant mikado which is reflected in our facades, penetrates a green wall, stands out against a concrete background...
Designed for the outdoors, it is a real choice to occupy public space, to multiply the points of view on a gathering of acrobatic aristocrats with offbeat eccentricity.
Bodies in the air deform, twist and the acrobatics become deconstructed.
From the fallen swinging trapeze to the decadent Korean, aerial discipline loses its traditional codes to make way for more trivial emotions.
With an absurd taste for danger, manipulated by sprawling music, during this deliberate journey of just one hour, the artists empty themselves of their overflowing emotions, spitting out in turn euphoria, indifference, laughter, fear, rage... and more fear.
The restrictive uses of social relations, ridiculed, end up being swallowed up by these disarming humanities.

Boo… around the show

The company's arrival at D-6 allows for the consideration of actions aimed at the public. In addition, the manual and visible assembly of the bamboo structure is a real attraction that challenges and interests the residents and users of the space. Here are some proposals; some do not require special installation and will not result in additional billing; others, however, will require discussion, planning, and payment.

Shares included in the sale price
Construction of the bamboo bar:
You first form a group of around ten people (adults and teenagers over 13) who will come and help set up the bamboo bar:
small bamboo structure assembled using the same techniques as the large one and serving as a bar before and/or after performances.
This workshop takes place on the first day of assembly in the afternoon and lasts 3 hours.
Technical Rehearsal:
The day before the show, we hold a full-dress rehearsal under real performance conditions (timing, duration, etc.).
This is an opportunity for your staff or volunteers who won’t be available on show day to attend.

Sunset & Aperitif at the Foot of the Structure:
You provide the drinks and snacks, and we welcome up to 30 guests at the end of certain setup days for a casual, social gathering with the team.
This usually takes place on the third setup day, around 7:00 PM.
Alternatively, if the location and setup allow, we open the Bamboo Bar to the public at the end of the day (from 7:00 PM to 8:30 PM).
We manage stocking and staffing of the bar ourselves.

Shared Picnic Under the Structure:
A pre-organized group of up to 20 people is invited for a shared picnic with members of the company, the day before the performance, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM, under the bamboo structure.
Participants bring their own food and drinks.
These activities may or may not incur additional costs, depending on the number of people and team members involved.

Structure Tours, Artist Encounters & Open Rehearsals:
We welcome groups — especially school classes, people in social integration programs, or individuals with disabilities.
Visits last around 45 minutes and may include a meet-and-greet with the artists or be combined with an open rehearsal.
Scheduling and content are tailored according to group size and age.
Depending on weather or technical conditions, the company may limit the number of participants.
These visits can take place starting from Day 4 of setup until the performance day.
These activities may require additional fees beyond the show’s performance fee,
or require an extended stay to allow for restaging and rehearsal time.
Exclusive Structure Tour :
Two people are invited for a privileged visit of the bamboo structure, accompanied by two company members — with the chance to try climbing, if they’re up for it.
Bamboo Craft Workshop
On-site during installation, we offer 2-hour afternoon sessions where participants are guided by company members to create small handcrafted bamboo objects.

Rope Workshop :
A bamboo structure is assembled to serve as a support for aerial rope work.
We then host a 3-hour workshop to introduce rope techniques.
Maximum 5 participants per session.

Bamboo Structure Building Workshop :
A 3-hour workshop for up to 10 adults or teens (13+) focused on building decorative and artistic bamboo structures.
A great way to connect other parts of the city with what’s happening at the main performance site.
